Remote Sensing and Geo Informatics

The Remote Sensing and Geo-Informatics (RSG-I) Master program at AGH University of Science and Technology is a second-cycle (master's) degree program designed for graduates with a first engineering or bachelor's degree. The program is modular, with thematic clustering of courses in large blocks, and is available in English. It focuses on advanced remote sensing and geoinformatics technologies, including data acquisition, analysis, and interpretation from satellites, airborne sensors, drones, LiDAR, and thermal cameras. The curriculum emphasizes practical skills in programming, 3D modeling, data visualization, and geospatial information management. A significant portion of classes are delivered online, with live classes concentrated over 5 weeks per semester. The program prepares students for careers in environmental protection, spatial planning, scientific research, crisis management, urban planning, agriculture, energy, and transportation[1][2][3].
