Biomedical Engineering

The Biomedical Engineering Master program at Bialystok University of Technology focuses on applying engineering principles and design concepts to medicine and biology for healthcare purposes. The program educates students in medical computer science and electronics, medical telematics, medical materials, biomechanics, modeling of biological structures and physiological processes, and medical imaging techniques. Graduates are prepared to creatively solve biomedical engineering problems through modeling, designing, developing technologies and structures, and using computer techniques for processing and transmitting information. They are equipped to work in environments where technical science supports medicine, including IT system design, medical apparatus manufacturing, technical acceptance, and healthcare facility operations.
