Geodesy and Geoinformatics

The Master's program in Geodesy and Geoinformatics at WAT is designed to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and skills in geodesy and geoinformatics. The program focuses on conducting measurements, data processing, and visualization of results, enabling detailed evaluation of obtained data. Graduates are prepared to design and execute geodetic measurements using specialized tools and methods, manage surveying works, and apply for licenses to perform independent technical functions in surveying as defined by the Geodetic and Cartographic Law. The curriculum also covers the management of geodata acquisition and processing, the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology, and the creation of thematic geo-portals. Additionally, students are trained in numerical modeling and simulation of geospatial processes based on machine learning algorithms.
