Complete Guide to Czech Republic Student Visa Process

Czech Republic Student Visa Overview

To study in the Czech Republic for more than 90 days, students from India and Pakistan choose one of two papers. One is a long-term visa (up to 1 year in total). The other is a long-term residence permit (a card for a longer stay).

You apply in person at the Czech embassy for your country. India: Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi. Pakistan: Embassy of the Czech Republic in Islamabad. The Ministry of the Interior (MOI) decides.

Processing Time: Up to 60 days. The 60 days stop counting if you are asked for missing papers.
Visa Application Fee: The application fee is CZK 2,500, paid at the embassy.
Validity: A long-term visa lasts up to 1 year in total, with extensions. A long-term residence permit lasts up to 1 year, or up to 2 years in cases set by law, and can be extended.
