What Stands Out

Facts that make Argentina different.

No entrance exam at UBA

Anyone with the right school papers can join UBA. Every degree starts with the Basic Common Cycle (CBC), the first-year common courses. Public universities can charge foreigners without permanent residence, but UBA says its bachelor's study is free for foreigners. Ask in writing.

No entrance exam

Work during your studies

Degree students with a temporary residence as a student (your permit to live in Argentina as a degree student) may do paid work while it is valid. Students on a transitory residence (for exchange or short study) may not, unless the National Directorate of Migration (DNM) allows it.

Allowed for degree students

Free school certificate recognition

If you want a bachelor's, Argentina's Ministry of Education checks your school certificate and accepts it as valid in Argentina. It is free and online. You do it once.
