Your Study Plan

Show That You Come to Study

Before it gives a visa, the embassy checks that you meet the rules for the visa type and that your purpose is real.

A Clear Purpose
The embassy checks that your purpose fits the visa you ask for.
  • Your reason to enter Korea must match your visa type.
  • For a D-2 visa, that reason is your degree at the university that gave you the CoA.
Plan to Return
Be ready to explain your plans after your studies.
  • The embassy checks that you plan to go home when your permitted stay ends.
Enough Money
Money papers are one of the main checks.
  • Show the money your university and your embassy ask for, in the account and for the time they ask.

Key to Success

Give true papers. Explain your study plan clearly. Make sure every paper says the same thing.
