Address, DNI and CUIL in Argentina

In Argentina, your address is part of your migration file (the record the immigration office keeps about you). Give it when you apply and report any move within 3 working days. You ask for your first DNI (Argentina's national identity card) with your student residence, after you arrive.

Step-by-Step Guide

Your Address Steps in Argentina

Follow these steps from your first address to your DNI and CUIL.

1

Find your address

You need an address in the area of the immigration office that handles your residence.

2

Get your enrolment record

Your university gives you a signed copy of your electronic enrolment record.

3

Apply for residence and DNI

Apply on RaDEX, the immigration office's online system. You also ask for your first DNI in the same application.

4

Give an email address

You must give an email address. The immigration office sends official notices there. Once sent, they count as received, even if you did not read them.

5

Get your CUIL

Your CUIL, a number for work and social security, is made automatically with your first DNI. You can download proof of it online.

6

Report any move
