Tuition Fees in Chile
Universities in Chile charge fees in Chilean pesos (CLP). Each programme has its own yearly tuition fee, and you also pay an enrolment fee. Here are fees at Universidad de Chile (UChile), Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (UC) and Universidad de Santiago de Chile (USACH).

How Tuition Fees Work in Chile
Each university decides its fees every year. Fees are in Chilean pesos (CLP).
What You Pay
You pay an enrolment fee (derecho de matrícula) and a tuition fee (arancel) for your programme.
At Universidad de Chile (UChile), medicine costs more than journalism. Check your programme's own fee.
Some 2027 fee lists are not published. The bachelor's fees here are for students who started in 2026. Fees for 2027 may be different.
Always check the fee on your programme's own page before you accept an offer.

Pay online (UC)
You pay the UC enrolment fee online with Webpay (UC's online card payment) when you enrol.
UChile payment website
UChile students pay tuition and the basic enrolment fee at pagoaranceles.uchile.cl.
110 monthly payments (UC)
- UC splits the yearly tuition into 10 equal payments from March.
- Pay on time to keep using university services and to enrol for the next semester.

- 2UC: the enrolment fee for 2026 is CLP 195,000.
- 3UC: you can pay the yearly tuition in monthly payments, starting in March.
- 4UChile has no tuition scholarships of its own for students who finished school outside Chile.
- 5USACH: master's tuition for 2027 is CLP 1,940,666 a year (Chemistry) or CLP 1,984,538 a year (Linguistics), plus an enrolment fee each semester.
At UC, a late payment costs 1.3% more for each month it is late, plus a rise for higher prices (IPC).
At USACH, the 2027 master's fees are lower per year than UChile's bachelor's fees.
