Pack your passport, visa, acceptance letter and insurance papers in your hand luggage, not your suitcase.

Final Pre-Departure Preparation

Use this list in your last weeks at home. It follows what Irish border officers and the registration office ask for.

Why This Checklist Is Essential

When To Complete This Checklist

  • Before you book your flight: Wait for your visa decision.
  • Before you fly: Check every paper on this list.
  • Within 90 days of landing: Register and get your IRP card before the landing stamp in your passport runs out.
