Work Rules
Working While You Study in Morocco
In Morocco, a foreigner needs a work contract stamped by the labour ministry before starting any job. The employer asks for it. This includes students.
Work Regulations for International Students
Legal Right to Work
Any employer who wants to hire a foreigner must get approval from the labour ministry. The approval is a stamp on the work contract. The job can start only on the date of that stamp.
Students with a residence card
- You may work only with a work contract stamped by the labour ministry.
- Your employer asks for the stamp before you start.
Types of Student Work
Stamped work contract
The labour ministry stamps the work contract. Any change to the contract needs a new stamp.
Popular Job Opportunities for Students
Campus jobs exist at some universities, but not always for international students.
Campus jobs at Al Akhawayn University (AUI)
