Documents for Norwegian University Applications
What Norwegian universities ask for when you apply for a master's from India or Pakistan. You upload your papers to the university's online application system before its deadline. This page uses the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) as its example.
Most Norwegian master's applications ask for these four groups. UiO is the University of Oslo, UiB is the University of Bergen and NHH is the Norwegian School of Economics.

You show money twice: to the university when you apply, and to the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI) for your study permit, the permit to live in Norway as a student. Many people call it the student visa. Amounts are in Norwegian kroner (NOK).
- NTNU asks students from outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland to show money proof.
- The paper cannot be dated before 1 September of the year you apply.
- UDI needs NOK 15,488 a month, or NOK 170,368 for a full study year (autumn and spring). Show your tuition money as well, unless you have paid it. UDI changes the amount each year.
- It must be in a Norwegian bank account or in your university's deposit account (an account your university holds for this money).
